so you don't see a difference in how a private organization and a non-profit organization operates. Well here are some:
1. In your office, you are actually working for your boss and you are getting paid to do what they want you to do. I don't remember getting any pay check from IV. In fact, I have written several checks to IV. This doesn't mean I can post whatever I want but as long as I am following IV guidelines, I shouldn't get harassed by folks like you who think that their post is the only important post.
2. If you don't do what you are told at work, they'll fire your a&& and you wouldn’t know how to pay your bills next month. That's why the CEO or your boss don't have to send you a one liner before they take any decision.
As far as I know, IV is just a group of people coming together to address a problem which is shared by all members. I know that some people have worked harder than others and some people have contributed more than others but everyone has contributed one way or the other. So for you to come out and say that you are the only one doing all the work and others are just doing nothing and some how you are the CEO of this organization is just beyond my imagination. May be it's time you wake up and smell the coffee.

No Material Change, except i can go to Canada on business trips without any hassle and dont have to get fingerprinted while re-entering US

Since i had gotten the email from USCIS that its in mail - so no surprises

I only waited 7 months - so no upsets - even before my GC was filed - i was in US for only about 2 years or so - so no big deal - in those 2 years - my employer did not discriminate in terms of promotions/ pay hikes etc. I had bought a house even before my GC was filed and spouse could work because of my L1 status
- How did immigrationvoice help you during this long wait?

Sure - some of my closest friends are in H1B and i see how the long wait affects them and their families - having said that - i like to make up my mind (rightly or otherwise) about which initiatives are good or bad/ effective or ineffective- so as and when I see initiatives i get excited about like flower campaign, letters to various lawmakers etc- happy to help

GC and Citizenship should not prevent anyone from pursuing their career and personal dreams - if not US - there are other countries where your skills would be welcome. Personally - i have given priority to career and family life ahead of visa issues and rest has automatically fallen into place

I learned that the full committee meeting was scheduled for June 23rd (yesterday). Was it dropped or rescheduled?? Can you give that piece of information?

Deals net, I was wrongly implicated in the case.!! If the wife/girlfriend wants to screw you they can say anything to the police!! She wanted me out of her life because she was having a affair!! and She brught the police when I showed her the evidence!! I guess You do not have a wife/girl like that in your life.

Do this: Be happy with what you already have and expect (don�t worry) more good things in life. Just compare with somebody who doesn't even have food, clothes, shelter, health care, etc... in their lives.

Yup, i went back to my homecountry in February after 10 years away from home and trust me, our lives here are good. People back there will trade your place in a heartbeat. Just be glad that you are in the pipeline for a PR.

Hi,
I filed I485 and my I140 got cleared. My employer is not willing to give my Approved I140. I am not sure why he is holding my I140. I dont have have any idea to change job at this time.

This "AP already approved" so no interimAP(even for emergency) audiotape started since Middle of OCT from NSC IO and local IO's. My AP got LUD on Oct 11th and they said that your AP approved so dont bug us for a duplicate. Wait ... Wait .. Wait ... But how long ??
What do i do now ? I cant travel without this piece of sheet ( i mean paper)
According to my lawyer one should contact USCIS in case of non receipt of AP (Physical Papers) within a month from first LUD. During that call one should ask USCIS whether USCIS get AP papers back or not ( For whatever reason address change and/or wrong address etc.. not delivered to you). If USCIS receive those papers back then it will resend it upon verifying correct address with you and that is without any extra cost. To make this happen certainly you will have to either make frequent calls to USCIS or take frequent infopass appointments.Down the road if USCIS does not get AP papers back and you simultaneously do not get them, meaning if paper lost during transit, then you do have 2 choice..(1) forget about receipt of AP approval papers this time (2) Refile AP with new fee as USCIS did not get mail (papers) back.

Dont worry too much about the reds. Even I used to have a couple of greens.
But when I saw many people complaining about why IV is not pursuing piecemeal,
I explained them about the Hispanic caucus and CIR.....I started getting reds
because of that.
People often give red even for rational and logical postings here if the information is uncomfortable.

ramus, follow my posts in the past 20 days and you will see i have posted many posts for this AP expedite. I have a travel coming up shortly and I had only exactly 90 days from the date of application and date of travel. My application was approved recently along with my spouse. There is even a post where I listed out all the steps I took to expedite and finally finally only the local congressman phone to USCIS helped. its just unbelievable, but its possible. I have tickets that even if you postpone the journey I will lose money. I said to myself enough we lose with USCIS, and so decided to take all and any steps to expedite and get it done. just follow my posts (like start reading my past 20 posts) and I am sure you will find it useful.
