We are putting together a list of recommendations about this data for our next meeting with USCIS. If you have suggestions, do post on the thread. Besides, we've got aaround 40 or so votes, and they're spread over five people, so it would take longer than if it was just between two people. Well, obviously it <i>is</i> between two of you... :) If you took the votes for the mere mortals and added them to you two, then one of you would have crossed the line by now. :beam:

EB3 Movement - Any Hopes?
Any Hopes.... My PD is March 2003.... Something should happen.... I know that a movement of 18 months is something i cannot ask for... but again if there is some light at the end of the tunner..... :D

AP applied at: NSE.
on: Sept 7th.
mode of application: online + mail in all copies via good old USPS.
Status on 11/09: Card production.
No physical card yet, but so far so good.

Hi
I left my previous employer more than 6 months back , he didnt paid me my final paycheck and i complained to DOL since 3 months...now wehn i asked for my W2 he said me to do whatever i feel and he is adamant at not giving it....moreover he said that his company has suffered losses worth 25K and his lawyer has sent a legal notice in this regard....and when i said how will we file taxes he says he wished for me to be out of status and go back.....
Since i have complained to DOL and also it is more than 6 moths since i left his organisation giving proper notice and have email confirmations, can he issue me legeal notice.....?please advice...
He is also saying that he has written to USCIS that I am fraud,....though I have been working in fortune 100 companies and now also working in reputed company and never lied for anything and was on project from day 1 since I came to States....? can USCIS cause problems for me in future...
Also, he seems to have closed his company..
Folks please advice....
Keep all email correspondences....You can infact make him pay dearly for harasement...

Please remember that even if BEC clears the application with 2001 priority dates. These people still need to:
1) Apply for I140
2) Have I-140 Approved
3) Apply for I-485 only if their priority date is current
4) Complete various I-485 tasks like fingerprinting, BACKGROUND CHECKS (this is a huge one and unless you are lucky you can get stranded for anywhere between 6 months to 3 years)
5) Now after completing 1 - 4 above you can expect that they will apply a visa number to the application

Being an eternal optimist, I am still hanging in there with a hope that things will change after the next Presidential elections.
Hopefully all the buzz surrounding alterantive energy will result in some sizeable investment by the government in technology if we have a democrat as a President. But if the status quo continues, they will be spending their money in building meuseums in kansas refuting the theroy of evolution and 'Intelligent Design' and other such right-wing manusha!
My point is, it aint over till the fat lady sings, and thank god Lou Dobbs can't sing (I hope) :p

guys cool down it took them till end of May about 2 months to issue all receipt notices for H1 filed on Apr 2 this year. With the whole yes-no-yes situation this month they are definitely backlogged. Lets just wait till we actually get the receipts .

EAD, AP & FP notice are sent directly to the applicant. If you see the status of AP as document mailed then you should get within 2/3 days as they send by DHL. I got mine in 2 days, my wife also got in 2 days
If your attorney filed your case, then:
EAD is sent directly you
FP is sent to you and your attorney
AP is sent to your attorney.....
All these are sent by USCIS via regular mail.....
Your attorney might have sent the AP documents to you via DHL...

As much as I would like this bill to become law, the fact is it "Won't". The reason being the terms laid out in this bill are way to general, which will enable anyone who has done Masters from US to get a green card. Think about it, the amount of competition it will raise for both US citizens and other immigrants.
At this point, I am very skeptical about this bill gaining any success in the future, however we should focus our efforts on the recapture bill.

There should be support from most congress person for any bill to pass. All IV members should call the local congress person and request them to support the pro legal immigration bills.
Guys, This discussion has no relevance if the bills won't pass. So it is extremely important to call the specific House members.....
