Husband files 140 (assuming pending) + 485 - Primary
Wife as Dependent -

Wife files as Primary - 485 assuming she has 140, or if not 140 + 485
Husband is not a dependent.
If Case 4 is approved then both are safe (if Hub as a better PD).
If Case 5 is current - Husband can do follow to join and get the GC

what happens if ur wife gets hired by CAP one and she has problems after getting into a organization .. so i think you can think about fighting but also look for other options and would u do the same thing if you were in India assuming u r from India or just move on

How about, they are expecting so many application 140 plus 485...that THEY DO NOT WANT TO PROCESS ANY APPLICATION...like always - THEY WILL SIT and EAT BURGERS and dont WANT TO DO ANY WORK...nothing new here folks...

I filed for my wife ( I have a Unique A # and so does my wife A#)
My WIFE filed a seperate 485 with her 140 for herself. Her A # here matches the previous step. We did it so that my name did not appear in both so there will be less chances for a cancellation. I will do follow to join incase my wife applns goes faster

Does anyone know if vonage can be used as a phone card. Say if you want to make an international call from your cellphone using vonage account.
I dont think they have the calling facility with the reference to vonage account.....I have chatted with customer rep and he confirms me the same....this was few days back...not sure now...if any body has new info, update here.......

I am not sure about his public position about legal immigration but I think he made it difficult for immigrants (Legal and Illegal) to get driving permits in CA.

I think you have wrong info... Last year, EB2 I&C did receive spill over from EB2 ROW, EB1 (~3K), EB5.. Also from reading other posts it is my understanding that in fact there was NO spill over from Family Based.
I could be wrong though!!

I made a service req on sept 6 and they opened it on Sept 30 and assigned it to an officer. They enquired took detailsof my fedex , etc. and now they sent a letter. Just summary "wait wait wait still we need to key in " huh i think many of us will have same fate even after doing all this but i am not giving it up lets do something rather than nothing.

Vonage does work with a home security system, but they do no recommend using it for that purpose because then your security system is dependent on the internet to make the call out during an emergency.

Should I put vonage adapter in wireless router or in cable modem ?
BTB if anyone wants to split 2months referal rent for a new connection please send me a PM

It does not matter where you connect the vonage router. Just make sure none of your internet traffic is routed through vonage router. Vonage router should be be handling voice traffic only.

Nothing, Zilch, Nada....My lawyer said that of the 40 applications they filed on July 2nd. they got RN for only 5 so..... Seems to be a very long wait
It is told that most of the July 2 filings are waiting, but July 17 filings have received RN. Perhaps it all depends where USCIS folks put bundles of applications initially meant for rejection/return. I am also one of the July 2 filers still waiting

Of course yes its for our interest BUT don't forget that its against a violation. Tomorrow if the same organization brings resources in H-1B/EAD/GC/Citizenship we are not going to complain about it ... because its within whats allowed by the law, I think thats the purpose of having rules ... to have a fair playing ground ... think abt the havoc/chaos these companies could create by bringing people without any visa (illegally across borders) and talk about 'closing the doors and me not brought up that way', do you think that anyone including you would support that???. Here the purpose of L-1B visa is misused and blindly violated, so lets move in the right direction, we are not asking all L-1B visas to be banned BUT to investigate the abusal of that visa category and we are just pointing out the incidents where we think its getting violated. Lets see who is on right/wrong side. We'll leave the decision part to ICE/USCIS/Other agencies involved.

That counts a lot. A record number of media outlets and blogs have picked it up. Even USCIS posted a statement on its home page in response.. Of course there are going to be other stories to compete in the media... it is a big and eventful world after all..

I have filed my green card with her. But in all our discussions she has sided with my company's interest over mine. In fact in one of our FYI meetings, she said that getting the green card faster would not be good for companies as people would quit after that. So I am not sure whether she will take up the cause but we can try.
