Hi there,
I'm a newbie with DSLR's. I am using a D40x with a SB400 speedlight that I use to bounce light off the ceiling. I take a lot of photos of my daughter who goes a mile a minute. I have found that she is out of focus because it picks up something closer.
How do I take a shot that will have the entire shot in focus? What settings would I use? With 10 megapixels sometimes I want to get the shot and crop/frame it later. With kids it's impossible to set everything right before the shot is gone!

As far as i know medicals are valid for 2 1/2 years.
Answer to your next question is, there could be many possibilities.
1. USCIS might have lost your original 693
2. There could be something which is not clear in the original 693 etc
Don't worry much. Just give them what they asked.

We will be sending emails after sometime so that that people can keep updating it. IN order for this data be reliable, the effort must start from each one of us.
We should regularly update our data and also urge others to do the same. These days I am first looking at the data of the user before replying to the post. If the data is not there, it is ok. We do not force anyone who does not have data to update the profile. Their data will anyways not show on the tracker. In the coming days we will add more filters in the tracker to clean up such people who have incomplete or zero data.
But we definitely need to nudge people who have put incorrect data to correct it. Incorrect data will hurt the reliability of the tracker and the advocacy effort we plan to do.

Just got response for my SR saying there is a RFE on my case and the letter is sent to my attorney. No update or no SLUD, LUD online. No RFE on spouse case but still waiting.

I got an RFE email yesterday for "additional evidence and/or information" for my pending I-485 (filed Jan 05 for Jun03PD, approved I-140). Hope to get the RFE letter by next week. I am hoping that the RFE is for the usual EVL/pay-stubs/tax-returns/ question.
Meanwhile I have travel plans starting Dec 13th. So want to get the answers/requested documents to the attorney before I leave. Since my status is still AOS(pending I-485) and I have a valid AP, I am assuming there should be a problem at the POE ? what you guys think?

Yes, you can re-enter on AP even if your 485 gets approved in your absence. Carry your AP, 485 receipt copy etc with you.
Only potential for trouble is if your 485 gets denied for some reason. Then the only way to re-enter would be some visa...

When I filed my AOS application I was in CA and still I am working in CA, I never worked / lived in MIAMI,FL.

thanks Ramba. so under normal conditions if both the cases x and Y are preapproved and once Visa numbers are available x will get GC first as he has earlier PD.will we get any notification once our case is preapproved?

I am also thinking to either file EB2-PERM or convert my current EB3-ROW Regular LC PD-04/2002 to PERM.

Thankyou! That's what I intend to do. We need to wait till we get the denial notice and then plan on MTR/Apeal. I am planning to consult more than one lawyer just to be safe. I just wanted to see if any of the forum members came across similar case.

Did any one of you receive receipts matching above criteria. I-140 approved from NSC and 485 sent to NSC.
Also respond if anyone is in the same boat as me waiting for receipts and matching above criteria.
I am on the same boat with you, my application was received on July2nd at 9.01 AM(NSC) and signed by R. MICKELS, I-140 was approved from NSC.
No receipts yet and not even the checks have been cashed:mad:
