Has anyone that sent his/her July I485 application to NSC and expect this application to have been transfered to TSC, received a receipt?

Hi all,
I am a consultant working on H1B and my 3rd yr of visa expires in march 2011.
Im planning to file my GC through my current employer in EB2 category(As I have a masters degree) but have following queries :
1.My company is a small company with only 2 employees i.e. me and my manager.
If i do file my GC through such a company,whats are the pros and cons e.g. any RFE expected because its a small company considering that have already had an RFE when transferring my H1B to this company earlier.
2.Can I file my GC through a different employer say my end client or any other company while im working with my current employer?
3.Considering the above situations,what is the best option for me to file my GC at tis point of time?
Also filing my GC in EB2 category will help avid processing delays as per the current trend?
Please advise.

I am right now on L1A visa recently filed for extension and still in processing.
I am planning to get married to my girlfriend here and apply for greencard.
Would appreciate information on how to proceed with that and wheather the L1 extension would affect it in anyway.

Can someone comment on how the recent trend has been for a PERM application that was applied under EB2 for a Software Developer position?
My employer is planning to apply one for myself and was wondering if it's a good time to do so?
I've heard that DOL is blatantly denying a large % of applications that are in the audit queue. Is this true? :(

I have changed to a new employer and have mailed AC21 documentation to the nebraska service center at the following address using FEDEX.
Nebraska Service Center
850 S Street
Lincoln, NE 68508-1225
It is 2 weeks now that the mail has been delivered. So far I have not seen any soft LUD's on either my pending I-485 or approved I-140 cases.
- Would the LUD's be seen at all on these? How many days after sending the docs would you see the LUD typically?
- Is there any way we can call and confirm that the new employer details are applied on my I-485 case?

This Skil bill in HR development looks very exciting....may be this will be the our savior bill. Now senate and house both has similar bills and based upon the trend, it looks there is not much resistance to this new bill.

The following is in the e-mail I got from USCIS in response to my service request placed on 5/27/2008. Does this mean my case has been given to an Officer to look at?

TSC has cleared my EAD in 10 days. Applied on 27th of March 2009 and got 'Card Production Ordered' message on 9th of April 2009

Hello all
My wife dint work for a while on H1 status,but changed back to H4 after working for 6 months with change of status from H1 to H4 at INS..so currently she is on h4..
Will there be an issues during adjustment of status thru at 485 stage..will her details be checked in..?

application freely, make your check or money order
payable to the ''Commissioner of Finance of the Virgin
Islands.''

Thanks for maintaining excellent site and answering all sorts of different complex questions.
Now my story.
I am going to apply in next H1B quota and was having below queries:
1. I am confuse about what kind of h1b interview questions will be ask by consulate officer
2. Will they ask my previous work experience letter.. because currently I am in Australia and my work experience was in India and there's no way I can have letter now.
3. How's the job market for Enterprise Oracle DBA
4. And Do I need to keep any extra precautions from start in order to be safe from all future legal problems being a consultant.

Tough talk from the Senate Majority Leader. Some, including my good friend Tamar Jacoby, think this is a really bad idea. I'm not so sure. I think fear of losing the Hispanic vote for a generation or more and the sudden urgency of the situation created by the Arizona fiasco could make responsible Republicans at least seek to block a filibuster and allow for a majority vote (as seems likely with financial regulatory reform). Hi,
I was working for Company A with whom I've my H1 & I-94 valid until Aug 2010. But I was laid off from Company A in Dec 1st week and I found a new job with Company B in Jan 3rd week. So I was out of status for about 6 weeks time.
Now Company B don't wish to file a transfer but instead they are filing something called H1 "Loose Petition", obviously I'm not going to start work with Company B until this H1 gets approved and I travel out of US, get restamped based on my New H1 petition, come back to US and start work for Company B.
But my question is, while from today until this so called "Loose Petition" H1 is getting processed (since they applied premium it would take about 2-3 weeks) can I legally stay in US (in terms of I-94 I've my I-94 from Company A H1 which is valid until Aug 2010)?
My employer suggest that I stay here until H1 processing result comes out and then leave country get restamped. Please let me know if you have an Answer.
